Today, I invite you to reflect on the ways the Divine has been and continues to be with you:
How has the Divine engaged you today?
When was the last time you encountered the Messiah?
How has God mothered you today?
Who has the Holy One used recently to send you a divine message?
What has the Divine asked to birth (name/create) through you?
Where does God have you in this season?
What has the Holy One recently exposed to you?
Through life’s journey, why has God been with us?
Peace is possible when we remember that God is with us!
REVEREND TIERNEY RIDLEY hails from Macon, GA, and self-identifies as a body and sex-positive Afro-Christian womanist in living and praxis. She was ordained (2021) into the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship by her Pastor, Rev. Kristian A. Smith (The Faith Community).
Before her professional career in ministry, Rev. Tierney graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science and from McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University with a Master of Divinity in 2021. She is the 2021 recipient of the William Ollie and Nell Ray Key Excellence in Leadership Award.
From 2019-2020, Rev. Tierney served as the Interim Minister of Hospitality and Pastoral Care at the Faith Community in Tucker, GA. She currently serves as the Executive Pastor.
In addition to congregational ministry, Rev. Tierney has done work curating digital sacred space. She is the founder of TierneyCarlynn Productions, the host of Sassy SoulVersations Podcast, the host of the Let’s Talk About Sex Podcast, and a cast member of the Holy Smokes: Cigars and Spirituality Podcast. Tierney is currently a member of the ATL-ITC cohort of RISE Together National Mentorship Network for Women of Color in Ministry, in partnership with Union Theological Seminary.
